Temasek Polytechnic: Wayfinding Kiosks and a CMS Migration

What the client needed

Temasek Polytechnic wanted interactive wayfinding kiosks to help students and visitors find their way around campus, and a simpler way to manage the screens it already had. The kiosks show the campus map, directions to rooms and information about each building.

The kiosks

We supplied three 43-inch Qiosc kiosks on K-style bases, with the RK3588 player for smooth maps and graphics. The wayfinding software is by our partner Point Consulting. Before order confirmation, the software was tested on the kiosk hardware, as we do for every software project.

The CMS migration

The campus also had ten screens used for events, showing images and videos. We replaced their built-in players with DS VISUAL media players and moved all ten onto XH Cloud, our CMS, so the team can schedule and update content on every screen from one place. The screens themselves stayed; only the players changed. We set them up and trained the team, and the team manages its own content.

The result

Three kiosks help students and visitors find their way, and ten event screens are run from one CMS.
